EASTON, Mass. (April 16, 2013) – Six members of the Stonehill College women's tennis program have earned Northeast-10 Conference postseason honors the league announced today.

Senior Paige Frost (Brigantine, N.J./Holy Spirit) leads the All-Northeast-10 Conference selections with first team honors for No. 4 singles as well as second team honors at No. 1 doubles. Junior Kaitlyn Martin (Medway, Mass./Medway) also earned first team All-NE-10 honors for No. 5 singles, while freshman Kirsti Toegemann (Narragensett, R.I./The Lincoln School) earned second team All-Conference accolades for both No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles (along with Frost).

Sophomore Meryl Lawrence (North Scituate, R.I./Mount Saint Charles Academy) and senior Chelsea Haedrich (Islip, N.Y./Islip) round out the Skyhawks All-Conference singles performers by earning third team honors at No. 3 and No. 6, respectively. Freshmen Bailey Paradiso (Birmingham, Mich./Marian) and Analise Kump (Falmouth, Maine/Falmouth) round out the All-Conference selections by earning third team honors for No. 3 doubles. Toegemann and Paradiso have also been named to the NE-10 All-Rookie team for their efforts in their freshman seasons.

Frost earns All-Northeast-10 singles honors for the fourth-straight year with her third first team honor this spring at No. 4 singles. She was a first team honoree for No. 5 singles as a freshman, No. 4 as a sophomore and a second-team performer at No. 3 singles last season. Frost is 20-5 overall for singles during her senior season, including an 18-2 clip in dual match play and winning all 12 of her NE-10 matches as she carries an eight match winning streak into the postseason. She is 15-1 overall this season at No. 4 to go with a 3-1 mark at No. 3.

Frost, a two-time NE-10 Academic All-Conference selection who received the NE-10 Scholar-Athlete Sport Excellence Award for women's tennis as a junior, owns a 123-31 (.796) combined record over her career at Stonehill. She is 71-12 (.855) all-time for singles, including a 44-2 (.957) career mark in NE-10 play, to go with a 52-19 (.732) career doubles record, going 27-4 (.871) in NE-10 doubles play. Frost has received the St. Thomas Aquinas Medal for having the highest cumulative grade point average on the team three-straight years.

Frost and Toegemann have combined to form the 9th-ranked doubles team in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Regional rankings and earn second team All-NE-10 honors for No. 1 doubles. The duo has combined to post a 7-2 overall record since being united this spring, including 6-1 in NE-10 play. While Toegemann has received her first two All-Conference honors in her freshman season, it marks the second-straight year Frost has earned All-Conference honors for doubles after she and former teammate Sarah Hickey, '12, were third team honorees at No. 1 doubles last year.

Toegemann earns second team honors at No. 2 singles to go with her and Frost's doubles selection as well as a spot on the NE-10 All-Rookie team. She has posted a 21-4 singles record in her first collegiate season, including a 15-1 dual match record and registering an 11-1 record in NE-10 play, going 9-1 at No. 2 singles after winning all six of her matches at No. 5 singles during the fall season. Toegemann has been named the NE-10 Rookie of the Week three times this season and Player of the Week once. She reached the B-singles final at the ITA East Regional in September, while also reaching the B-doubles quarterfinals with Haedrich, her former doubles partner with whom she posted a 10-2 record with.

Martin earns All-Northeast-10 honors for the third time in her career, collecting first team honors for the first time with her spot at No. 5 singles. She earned third team honors at No. 5 singles and second team accolades at No. 2 doubles with former teammate Leah White as a freshman when she was also named to the All-Rookie team. Martin is 21-4 in singles play during her junior season, including a 19-1 dual match record having won all 12 of her NE-10 matches and carrying a 14 match winning streak into the postseason. She placed fourth at the New England Tennis Championships at the sixth singles flight in October.

Martin is a combined 91-25 (.785) in singles and doubles play so far over her three year career at Stonehill, posting a 45-12 (.790) singles mark, including 27-2 (.931) in NE-10 play, to go with a 46-13 (.780) doubles record, including 22-3 (.880) in NE-10 play. Martin has earned NE-10 Player of the Week honors twice over her career, including once this season on October 16, to go with three NE-10 Rookie of the Week awards as a freshman. She has also received NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll accolades multiple semesters.

Lawrence earns All-Conference honors for singles for the second straight season with her third team award at No. 3 singles after collecting first team honors at No. 6 singles her freshman season, also being named to the All-Rookie team. She has posted a 16-5 record in singles play this season, including a 15-4 mark in dual match play with an 8-2 clip in NE-10 matches. Lawrence is 12-3 at No. 3 singles to go with a 3-1 mark at No. 2.

Lawrence is a combined 62-14 (.816) in singles and doubles play over her two year career at Stonehill. She has posted a 37-7 (.841) singles mark, including 21-2 (.913) in NE-10 play, to go with a 25-7 (.781) doubles record, including 15-0 in the NE-10. Lawrence had won her first 29 combined singles and doubles matches in doubles play before being defeated for the first time with a singles loss against Southern New Hampshire University on April 4. She has earned NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll status two semesters and Athletic Director's Honor Roll honors once over her first three semesters at Stonehill.

Haedrich earns All-Northeast-10 honors for the fourth time with her third team award at No. 6 singles. It marks her second All-Conference performance in singles after earning first team honors at No. 6 singles as a freshman in 2010, while also earning second team honors at No. 3 doubles as a freshman and first team honors at No. 3 her sophomore year. Haedrich is 12-6 overall this season, including a 10-3 dual match record with a 4-2 clip in NE-10 play. She is 8-3 this season at No. 6 singles while also winning both of her matches at No. 5.

Haedrich has played three seasons for Stonehill and has posted a 94-21 (.817) combined record in singles and doubles play over her career. She is 31-10 (.756) over her career in singles play, including a 17-3 (.850) mark in NE-10 matches, posting a 63-11 (.851) mark in doubles action, including 30-3 (.909) in the NE-10.

Kump and Paradiso both earn All-Conference honors for the first time with their second team accolades at No. 3 doubles The freshmen tandem has posted a 12-2 record since being paired together this spring, including a 6-1 mark in the NE-10. The duo has posted an 11-1 clip at No. 3 doubles while also splitting a pair of matches at No. 2. Paradiso, the 19th-ranked singles player in the ITA East Regional rankings who has also earned All-Rookie team honors from the NE-10, is 24-5 overall with two different partners in doubles play in her first collegiate season. Kump has posted a 22-4 doubles record this year with three different partners.

Stonehill (18-3, 11-1 NE-10), ranked seventh in the NCAA Division II East Regional rankings and sixth in the ITA East Region, is seeded second for this week's NE-10 Tournament and will make its 14th tournament appearance when it hosts a semifinal round match on Thursday. The Skyhawks will host the winner of Tuesday's first round clash between third-seeded Saint Michael's College and sixth-seeded University of New Haven at Charles Watt Tennis Courts at 2 p.m.
