EASTON, Mass. (February 26, 2020) – Two members of the Stonehill men's basketball program have been recognized by D2EastHoops.org in its All-Decade review for the seasons of 2009-10 through 2018-19, the website announced.

Stonehill men's basketball graduate Ryan Logan, '17 and current senior Will Moreton both received All-Decade team recognition from the website. Logan, a native of Fredericktown, Ohio, earned a spot on the All-Decade second team, while Moreton was an honorable mention pick, having played three of his four seasons during the previous ten years. The duo were part of a program that compiled 179 wins, including 112 in the Northeast-10, from 2009-10 through the 2018-19 season, with five NCAA Tournament bids, two trips to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight, including a national semifinal appearance in 2012, the 2009-10 NE10 Regular Season Championship and 2012 NE10 Tournament title.

Logan, named Stonehill's Fr. William Gartland, CSC, Male Senior Student-Athlete Award recipient, finished his career at the College as a two-time NABC All-District second team selection and three-time All-NE10 honoree, with first team honors as a junior and senior. Named to the Bevo Francis Award "watch list" by Small College Basketball as a senior, he started all 115 games of his collegiate career, finishing ranked fifth on the program's career scoring list with 1,757 points before being passed by Moreton this winter.

Logan ranked tenth upon graduation with 135 three-point field goals, averaging 15.3 points per game as the team's top scorer all four years, ranking among the top ten in the NE10 for scoring, rebounding and assists as a junior – the only player in the league to do so last winter. He was a key member of Stonehill 2015-16 team that posted a 24-9 record overall on its way to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight for the third time in program history, earning a spot on the NCAA East Regional All-Tournament team.

Logan, who has gone on to enjoy a professional playing career in Luxembourg and Germany, totaled 822 rebounds, 359 assists, 103 steals and 47 blocked shots over his career, scoring in double-figures in 93 of his 115 career games. He recorded three career 30-plus point games, including a career-best 36 points in an NE10 Quarterfinal win at Adelphi University in 2016, with 30 career 20-plus point games. He posted 24 career double-doubles, including a team-high 11 his junior season, grabbing a career-high 20 boards against Saint Anselm in November 2015. Logan dished out a career-best nine assists in the Skyhawks NCAA East Regional semifinal win over Southern New Hampshire University in 2016.

Moreton, who only played three years during the decade involved, is a two-time All-NE10 second team selection to date, having been selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District I first team last week. He ranks fifth in program history with his 1,804 points, which leads all active players in the NE10 and is 13th in Division II overall. He is also second in program history with his 261 career three-point field goals, ranking first among active NE10 shooters and 14th in Division II, while ranking 12th nationally among active players with his 832 career rebounds and 11th with his 31 career double-doubles. Moreton is shooting 44.7-percent from the field for his career, including 39.9% from three-point distance, and 78.1% from the free-throw line.

Moreton, who has started all 112 games of his Stonehill career, was one of three small college selections to USA Basketball East Coast last summer. The team, coached by Syracuse University associate head coach Adrian Autry, and included players from major Division I programs, toured and competed in Greece last June. He leads Stonehill in scoring, rebounding and assists for the second-straight year, having also led the Skyhawks in steals as a junior.

Moreton has scored 20-plus points 31 times in his career, with five games of 30-plus points, including a career-high 40 points in a win over Franklin Pierce University on February 14, 2019, marking the program's first 40-point game since 1998. He was named to the NABC Honors Court following his junior year and the NE10 Academic Honor Roll five semesters, receiving Academic Distinction status each of the last three for having a semester GPA between 3.50 and 3.99. Moreton has also been named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll four semesters for having a GPA above 3.20 and was named to the NE10 All-Rookie Team as a freshman.

Stonehill (17-10, 13-6 NE10), ranked No. 6 in the first NCAA Division II East Regional ranking of the season, has earned the No. 2 seed in the NE10's Northeast Division for the upcoming NE10 Tournament and will host Southwest No. 3 Southern Connecticut State University for a quarterfinal round matchup at Merkert Gymnasium on Sunday at 4 p.m.
