Nehmer Named NE10 Player of the Week

Brendan Nehmer earned his first NE10 Player of the Week this season after his strong week against Johnson and Wales and Post University.

EASTON, Mass. (December 6, 2021)- For the first time this season, junior forward, Brendan Nehmer was named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week the league office announced earlier today. 

In Friday's 8-1 win over Johnson and Wales University, Nehmer made contributions all over the ice as he netted two goals, while also dishing out four assists to his teammates. Nehmer is now tied for the team lead in goals (six) and paces the team's offense with eight assists on the season. Nehmer's eight assists also rank him second in the NE10 Conference. In Stonehill's other game againt Post University, Nehmer was tied for fourth on the team with three shots.

For his Stonehill career, Nehmer has potted goals, generated 24 assists for a toal of 37 points in his career.

Coming up this week for Stonehill, the Skyhawsk begin their five-game road trip when they first play Westfield State University on Tuesday, December 7 at 7:35 p.m. Stonehill wraps up the week with a non-conference matchup against Worcester State University on Friday, December 10 for a 6:50 p.m. puck drop.
