HOOKSETT, N.H. (March 27, 2022)- Despite a fifth-inning grand slam by Matt Farragher, the Stonehill College baseball team fell to No. 17 Southern New Hampshire University in Northeast-10 Conference action, 7-5 Sunday afternoon at Penmen Field.

Standout Performances:

Key Moments:

  • Southern New Hampshire got the scoring started with a five-run second inning that featured a two-run RBI double from Dylan O'Sullivan
  • After the Penmen added two more runs (7-0) in the next two innings, the Skyhawks responded in a big way when Farragher launched a grand slam to right-center that cut the deficit to three (7-4). It was Farragher's first collegiate grand slam and fourth home run of the season.
  • Stonehill continued their momentum in the seventh when Lidksy ripped an RBI double (7-5) to left field that ended up scoring Kiely after he had singled to start the frame.
  • The Skyhawks threatened in the top of the eighth after back-to-back singles from Kiely and Noah Lucier but unfortunately, the rally was ended and the Penmen eventually held on for the final score of 7-5.
