Men's Tennis Falls on the Road to Boston University

WALTHAM, Mass. (February 10, 2024) – The Stonehill College men's tennis team fell to Boston University, 7-0, Saturday evening at the Waltham Tennis Club.

Highlights

  • Freshman Jacob Borch-Nielsen and junior Jacob Wilhelm Krefting combined for the lone victory on the day for the Skyhawks.
  • Borch-Nielsen and Krefting took down junior Cole Knutsen and senior Jonah Dickson at No. 1 doubles, 6-1.
  • Despite earning the point in No. 1 doubles, Stonehill was unable to earn a set victory against the Terriers.
  • Sophomore classmates Corey Craig and Jakob Esterowitz helped secure the match victory for BU, finishing the day as double winners.
  • The pair combined to defeat sophomore Mark Kröll  and freshman Alexis Chastang at No. 2 doubles, 6-3, before earning wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively.
