  • Meilun would keep the Bears off the board until the 13:55 mark of the first period where Pineau broke through and tied the game up at 1-1.
  • Brown would take its first lead of the contest early in the second period after Tonelli scored his first goal of the season on the power play.
  • The Skyhawks would respond and tie the game up at two apiece at the 12:17 mark of the middle frame when Schreifels lit the lamp on the power play for Stonehill's first special teams' goal of the season.
  • However, in the waning seconds of the middle period, the Bears would regain their lead on an even strength goal from Sutton.
  • Brown would continue to apply offensive pressure in the third, tacking three more goals on the board and sealing the 7-2 victory over the Skyhawks.
