Last week in the Sorlien Memorial Invite hosted by the University of Rhode Island (URI), Stracqualursi tied her personal best in the shot put while also recording a top-10 finish in the event (eighth). She continued her strong indoor season competing in the shot put when she tied her career-high throw of 12.27 meters. Her eighth-place finish continued her streak this season of finishing in the top-15 in shot put. She also set a personal best in the weight throw event with a toss of 12.23 meters for a top-20 finish (20th).

This season, Stracqualursi has competed in all three meets for the Skyhawks and has had strong outings each time. In the squad's first meet of the indoor season (The Art Kaddish Elm City Challenge), she took home first in the shot put with a throw of 12.07 meters. In the next meet (Harvard Multi & Beantown Challenge), Stracqualursi recorded another top-15 finish (12th) in the shot put when she had a toss of 11.36 meters.

Stonehill heads back to URI next week when the squad will compete in the Coaches Tribute Meet for a 10 a.m. start. For the latest on Stonehill Athletics, follow the Skyhawks via social media on TwitterFacebook and Instagram.
