White earns second career All-Conference honor with first team selection
Agan garners third-straight nod to NE-10 third-team

EASTON, Mass. (November 3, 2011) – Three members of the Stonehill College men's soccer team have earned postseason honors from the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) as selected by the league's 14 head coaches.

Senior Daktronics All-East Region Second Team and National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division II All-East Region Second Team selection Michael White (Lisbon, N.H./Lisbon Regional) has earned NE-10 First Team honors for the first time in his career while senior back Christopher Agan (Niskayuna, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) has earned NE-10 Third Team accolades for the third-straight season. Freshman goalkeeper Adam Colella (Wilmington, Mass./St. John's Prep.) was selected to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team.

White, who is the first Stonehill player to earn NE-10 First Team honors since Tom Wetzel in 1999, led the Skyhawks in scoring with 10 goals (three game-winners) and five assists for 25 points. White finished second in the conference in goals and points behind Chris Tsonis (Dartmouth, Mass./Dartmouth) of Southern New Hampshire University in both categories.

White wraps up his career at Stonehill on the soccer pitch compiling 24 goals and 11 assists for 59 points in 69 games played to go along with eight game-winning markers. In his four-year collegiate career, White has only missed one contest which occurred during his freshman season. Last fall, White earned NE-10 All-Conference Second Team honors leading the team in points with 22 total.

White, a two-sport athlete at Stonehill, also earned American Baseball Coaches' Association (ABCA) All-East Region Second Team honors and Daktronics All-East Second Team honors as a member of the Skyhawk baseball team last spring.

Agan picks up his third-straight selection to the NE-10 Third Team becoming Stonehill's first three-time honoree since midfielder Robbie Burns in 1997. Agan guided a Skyhawks back line that allowed a 1.50 goals against average (GAA) in conference play and four shutouts overall this season.

Agan, a four-year starter for Stonehill (66 games played, 62 starts), has also seen success off the field for the Skyhawks earning NE-10 Academic All-Conference honors.

Colella posted a record of 9-7-0 overall in net for the Skyhawks – third best among all goalkeepers in the conference – becoming the first player in program history to be named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team which was introduced by the league in 2008. Colella notched a 1.47 GAA in 16 games played (all starts) turning away 51 shots for a .680 save percentage and four shutouts in his freshman campaign.

The Skyhawks, who reached the NE-10 Tournament for the 14^th time in program history, wrapped up their season at 10-9-0 overall and 7-6-0 in NE-10 play. Stonehill tied the program record for conference wins this fall which was set in 1990 (7-1-1) and clinched its first winning season since 1997 (9-8-1).
