EASTON, Mass. (March 20, 2023) – Stonehill College, in conjunction with the Northeast Conference, has released its 2023 football schedule today.

Stonehill's second NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) schedule and its 36th varsity schedule overall includes four home dates, three 2022 FCS playoffs participants, and its second seven NEC slate. The Skyhawks include their three non-conference schedules to the NEC schedule the Conference has announced today.

Stonehill's 2023 home schedule will open with a marquee matchup with perennial NCAA FCS Playoff participant University of New Hampshire visiting W.B. Mason Stadium on Saturday, September 2, for a 1 p.m., kickoff. The Wildcats were ranked in the top 15 of both Division I FCS national polls to end the 2022 season after winning a share of the Colonial Athletic Association championship before advancing to the second round of the FCS playoffs.

Stonehill will then hit the road for three-straight weeks, starting Saturday, September 9, when it opens its second NEC schedule at Central Connecticut State University. The Skyhawks then visit Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, September 16, and Fordham University, another FCS Championships participant, in New York City on September 23, for back-to-back non-conference tilts against Patriot League members. Stonehill closes out a five-game September on September 30 when it hosts reigning NEC Champions and FCS playoffs participant Saint Francis (Pa.) University for a Family Weekend matchup.

Stonehill opens October at Merrimack College for an NEC clash in North Andover, Massachusetts, on the 7th. The Skyhawks return from a bye week on Saturday, October 21, to host Sacred Heart University for an NEC matchup at W.B. Mason Stadium, before heading to Staten Island, New York, to visit Wagner College for an NEC contest on October 28.

Following its second bye week of the year, Stonehill heads to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, November 11, for an NEC battle with Duquesne University. The Skyhawks close out their season with a Senior Day matchup with Long Island University at W.B. Mason Stadium on November 18 at 1 p.m.
