Satkowski has started 12 of the 14 games he has played at Stonehill, including both games so far this fall at right tackle. He has been a key cog for an offensive line that has produced the No. 1-ranked scoring (54.5 ppg), total offense (474.5 yds/gm) and rushing (254.5 yds/gm) offense in the NEC so far this fall. The Skyhawks are also ranked No. 2 in the NEC for passing offense with 220-yards per game. Stonehill finished its NCAA Division II era leading the NE10 in total offense (408.7 yds/gm) and completion percentage (59.7%), while ranking second in the NE10 for rushing offense (195.9 yds/gm), third in scoring offense (30.1 ppg) and fourth in passing (212.8 yds/gm) in 2021. Satkowski has volunteered at the Stoughton (Mass.) Homework Center facilitating small group tutoring sessions for grades 7-12.

Stonehill (2-0, 0-0 NEC), ranked No. 6 in this week's New England Football Journal Division I Top 16, returns to action for the first time in three weeks when it hosts Duquesne University for its highly anticipated NEC debut at W.B. Mason Stadium as part of Family Weekend at the College on Saturday at noon. The Skyhawks will also be celebrating 50-years of Stonehill football on Saturday, welcoming its alumni to the game, including the 1970 Stonehill Knights Team that started the program. The game will be live on ESPN3 with Paul Dottino and Kevin Gilbride calling the action for the NEC Game of the Week.

The National Football Foundation will announce 12-14 finalists for the William V. Campbell Trophy® on October 26, and each of them will receive an $18,000 postgraduate scholarship as a member of the 2022 NFF National Scholar-Athlete Class presented by Fidelity Investments. The finalists will travel to Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas for the 64th NFF Annual Awards Dinner Presented by Las Vegas on Dec. 6, where their accomplishments will be highlighted in front of one of the most powerful audiences in all of sports. Live during the event, one member of the class will be declared as the winner of the 33rd Campbell Trophy® and have his postgraduate scholarship increased to $25,000.

Nominated by their schools, which are limited to one nominee each, candidates for the awards must be a senior or graduate student in their final year of playing eligibility, have a GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale, have outstanding football ability as a first team player or significant contributor and have demonstrated strong leadership and citizenship. The class is selected each year by the NFF Awards Committee, which is comprised of a nationally recognized group of media, College Football Hall of Famers and athletics administrators.

Named in honor of the late Bill Campbell, former chairman of Intuit, former player and head coach at Columbia University and the 2004 recipient of the NFF's Gold Medal, the Campbell Trophy® is a 25-pound bronze trophy and increases the amount of the recipient's grant by $7,000 for a total postgraduate scholarship of $25,000. This year's postgraduate scholarships will push the program's all-time distribution to more than $12.3 million.

Launched in 1959, the NFF National Scholar-Athlete Awards presented by Fidelity Investments celebrate their 64th year in 2022. The awards were the first initiative in history to grant postgraduate scholarships based on both a player's academic and athletic accomplishments, and the NFF has recognized 891 outstanding individuals since their inception. The Campbell Trophy® was first awarded in 1990 and is celebrating its 33rd year in 2022.
