EASTON, Massachusetts (April 1, 2023)- Today, the Stonehill College softball team hosted the Pioneers of Sacred Heart University at Fr. Gartland Field for a single afternoon game. The Skyhawks put up a good effort, leaving it out on the field, but falling short with a 10-0 loss.

Standout Performances:

• Skylar Brandemarte: Three Strikeouts
• Shannon Conte: SAC
• Natalie Bottiglieri: Single

Key Moments:

• At the start of the game, pitcher Skylar Brandemarte threw a solid game with three strikeouts and 32 strikes.
• Centerfielder Natalie Bottiglieri stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the first inning, hitting a single to left center.
• After Bottiglieri's single, third basemen Shannon Conte grounded out to third, advancing Bottiglieri to second with a SAC.
• In the bottom of the fourth inning, DP Paige Wodarski hit a single up the middle, with pinch-runner Chloe Kelly taking over a first, before the end of the inning.
