EASTON, Mass. (December 7, 2021) – Stonehill College freshman Jami Hepburn has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week for women's swimming and diving for the second time this season, the league office announced today.

Hepburn, who also earned NE10 Rookie of the Week accolades on November 23, recorded two breaststroke times that rank in the top two on the NE10 season performance chart to highlight the Skyhawks first championship meet in program history at the ECAC Winter Championships in New York this weekend. She made program history on Saturday morning by becoming the first Skyhawk to earn a B-cut final spot and led all non-Division I entries in the 100-yard breaststroke on Saturday, winning the B-final in 1:06.29 (9th overall out of 46 entries) after qualifying 11th in the morning with her school-record time of 1:06.18, which ranks first in the NE10 this season. She followed that up with a third-place finish in Sunday's 200-yard breaststroke C-final (19th overall out of 36) in a school-record 2:28.41, which ranks second in the NE10 this season, after posting a prelims time of 2:29.33 to finish second among non-Division I entries.
