  • Senior goalkeeper Carlos Dias Neto tied his season-high mark of eight saves in net for the Skyhawks

  • Junior Andrew Ellis and sophomore Sam Fenton each netted their first goals of the season, while first-year student Vasilis Moiras scored his second of the year.

  • Junior netminder Costi Christodoulou tallied five saves in going the full 90 minutes in net for Dartmouth

How it Happened

  • Throughout the opening minutes of the contest, both sides would go back and forth, spending the majority of time in the middle third of the pitch.

  • However, in the 26th minute, Dias Neto was put to the test, making an incredible diving stop, rejecting a point-blank shot attempt from junior Ben Jenkins and keeping Dartmouth off the board.

  • Stonehill did a good job controlling possession in the first half, winning the possession battle 54 to 46 percent over the Big Green.

  • After first-year student Tiago Lima-Bittencourt drew a penalty within the 18-yard box, Milliken stepped up to the dot and capitalized on his penalty kick attempt in the 51st minute, giving the Skyhawks the first lead of the game.

  • However, the Big Green would respond in the 60th minute of the contest, scoring a pair of goals in 35 seconds to gain the advantage on the scoreboard at 2-1.

  • Dartmouth capped off the scoring in the 66th minute of the game when Fenton would find the back of the net to seal the Big Green's 3-1 victory.
