SEAFORD, N.Y. (October 9, 2021) - Stonehill College, ranked No. 7 in this week's Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II poll, dominated from start to finish on Saturday, picking up its 10th victory of the season and eighth in Northeast-10 Conference field hockey action at Cedar Creek Park this afternoon.

The Details

  • The Skyhawks controlled the majority of the offense on the day while also picking up their fifth shutout of the season. 
  • With the victory, the Skyhawks will finish with double-digit victories for the eighth-straight season dating back to 2013.
  • Stonehill's 23 shots were tied for the second-most the team has taken this season, and marked the fourth game with 20+ shots, and the second-straight.

    Sophomore Claudia Crowe picked up her fourth goal of the season and also fourth of the game-winning variety. Her four game-winning goals share the NE10 lead and she has both game-winners this week and has a point in four-straight games.
  • Sophomore Raegan Hickey's insurance goal in the fourth quarter was her eighth of the season, the most on the Skyhawks and tied for third-most in the conference this year
  • Senior Abigail Campbell faced one shot, making one save in the Stonehill cage for her fourth shutout of the season.
  • Freshman Kelsey Price made her second start of the season for Molloy, making six saves on the day, one shy of her season-high set last time out.
