  • Freshman duo of Dominick Campione and Joseph Grainda each dished out their first assists on the young season.

How it Happened

  • Bentley opened the scoring at the 6:33 mark of the opening period after Bochen scored his first goal of the season on the power play.
  • Japchen answered the Falcons early goal less than five minutes later with a rocket one-timer shot off the blue line into the back of the net off assists from both Campione and Grainda.
  • However, Bentley would tack one more goal on the board with less than three minutes to play in the opening frame to take a 2-1 advantage into the first intermission.
  • The Falcons wasted little time in the second period extending their lead to 3-1 after Harrison found the back of the net at the 1:50 mark of the middle frame.
  • Both sides would remain scoreless until the 47-second mark of the final period where Bentley would cap off its scoring with a goal off the stick of Armstrong-Kingkade, sealing the 4-1 victory for the Falcons.
