The Game
Thursday night's Northeast Conference matchup between Stonehill and Sacred Hearts marks the pentultimate game of the season for both teams with the Skyhawks sitting in ninth place in the NEC while the Pioneers are in fourth. Stonehill hosts Sacred Heart for its final home game of the season, currently holding a 4-7 record at Merkert Gym. With a win, Stonehill keeps its playoff hopes alive, currently facing elimination with a loss in either of its final two games. Stonehill is coming off a 72-63 win over Saint Francis at Merkert Gym on Saturday, it's second win at home in NEC play. Sacred Heart most recently lost by one point to CCSU after winning back-to-back conference matchups over Wagner and FDU.

Player of the Week
Sophomore Tony Felder (Brockton, Mass.) was named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week honor for the first time this season as well as earning his third NEC Prime Performer nod Monday afternoon. In Saturday's 72-63 win over Saint Francis (Pa.) University at Merkert Gym, Felder scored a career-high 30 points on 10-19 shooting while grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out three assists with zero turnovers in 34 minutes. Over the last three games, Felder is averaging 18.7 points per game on a 46.3% shooting clip from the field to go along with 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per contest. His career-high of 30 points is the highest total by a Skyhawk this season and the most since grad student Max Zegarowski (South Hamilton, Mass.) scored 30 in a win over LIU last season on Feb. 16, 2023. Felder is the second Skyhawk this season to be named NEC Player of the Week, joining sophomore Chas Stinson (Charlotte, N.C.). Stinson earned the honor after recording career-highs of 23 points and 12 rebounds, notching the lone double-double for the Skyhawks this season, in a 59-58 loss at Rutgers on Dec. 31.
