LAKEVILLE, Mass. (March 11, 2024) – The Stonehill College women's tennis team fell to a 6-1 decision Monday afternoon to Lehigh University at the Lakeville Tennis Club.
Highlights
- Sophomore Anneliese Beltran earned the lone point for the Skyhawks with a singles win over Lehigh's Allyce Gaborik. Beltran lost the first set, 6-2, but won the second 6-3 to force a third set to break the tie. The third would go 17 games in total with Beltran winning the tiebreaker and the match, 10-7.
- Beltran won her third singles match of the season and this was the fourth time a set had gone 15+ games in one of her singles matches this year.
- Lehigh swept all three doubles matches before taking five of the six singles matches to win, 6-1.
