Siaba and Bernard both earn outdoor All-Region honors for the first time

2021 USTFCCCA NCAA Division II All-Region Performers

EASTON, Mass. (May 24, 2021) –Stonehill College men's track & field long jumpers Michel-Ange Siaba and Cameron Bernard have earned All-East Region honors for the outdoor season from the USTFCCCA, the organization announced. The awards recognize each region's top five performers in individual events and top three teams in relay events.

Siaba, a senior who recently graduated with his Bachelor's Degree, and Bernard, a sophomore, both earn All-East Region honors for outdoor track & field for the first time with their performances in the long jump this spring. Siaba has now collected four All-East Region honors over his two seasons at Stonehill, since transferring from Humboldt State University, having earned indoor All-Region accolades for the heptathlon, long jump and triple jump following the 2019-20 indoor track & field season. Bernard earns All-East Region honors for the first time in his career with his personal-best effort at the Merrimack Track & Field Carnival last month.

Cameron Bernard, Sophomore (Dedham, Massachusetts/Dedham)
Long Jump (23-feet, 4.75-inches/Merrimack Carnival) – personal-best 

Michel-Ange Siaba, Senior (Palo Alto, California/Palo Alto Senior High)
Long Jump (22-feet, 9-inches/New England Outdoor Track & Field Championships) – personal-best
