Palo Alto, California, senior wraps up Skyhawks career at New England Championships

NEW BRITAIN Conn. (May 14, 2021) – Stonehill College senior Michel-Ange Siaba wrapped up his collegiate career by earning All-New England honors at the 2021 New England Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Veterans Stadium this afternoon.

Siaba cleared a season-best distance of 22-feet, 9-inches against the wind for an eighth-place finish in the long jump in his final collegiate event. He posted the distance on his second of six attempts to earn All-New England honors for the first time in his two seasons with the Skyhawks and scored a point in the team standings for the program. Siaba was third among the non-Division I entries in the event, with University of Hartford senior Terrel Davis leading the field of 23 long jumpers overall, with a distance of 24-feet, 11-inches. Southern Connecticut State University senior Philip Quaye led the Division II competitors at 22-09.75, while senior Jack Allen of Brandeis University led the Division II entries at 22-00.25.
