MANCHESTER, N.H. (September 28, 2021) - Stonehill College, ranked No. 5 in this week's Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II poll, notched its seventh-straight win with a 2-1 victory over Southern New Hampshire University in field hockey action at Larkin Field tonight.

The Details
- Senior Elisha Brinkman had a hand in both Stonehill goals on the night with a goal and assist.
- Brinkman assisted on the opening goal by sophomore Claudia Crowe 8:56 into the game. She followed with her second goal of the season 1:34 into the second half off a pass from senior Emma Mawn.
- Southern New Hampshire pulled goal back less than four minutes later off a penalty corner when sophomore Emma Thibodeau netted her first collegiate goal following a pass by senior Emily Campbell off a corner injection by junior Sofie Wolters at 35:17.

Senior Abigail Campbell preserved the win with seven saves in the Stonehill cage, while postgrad Kate Pigsley turned aside six shots for SNHU.
