Day One at New Englands; Two Skyhawks Earn All-New England Honors

DEDHAM, Mass. (May 12, 2023) – The Stonehill College women's outdoor track and field team travelled to Dedham, Mass. for the New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Northeastern University. Four Skyhawks finished in the top eight of their events, with two earning All-New England honors for their final performances in the championship meet. 

Today's Top Results:

  • Running in the 10,000 meter event was Rebecca Erhardwho earned eighth with a finishing time of 38:24.49, earning All-New England honors.
  • In the javelin throw event, Kaley Enright placed eighth overall with a distance of 38.27 meters, earning All-New England honors. 
  • In the 100-meter hurdles event, Madison Rousseau placed fourth in the preliminary time trials with a time of 14.60, and will be competing in the final time trials tomorrow. Rousseeau sets herself up to earn All-New England honors in tomorrows final event.
  • Competing in the 400 meter dash was Kaytlin Encarnacaowho ran in the preliminary time trials and finished in sixth place with a time of 56.17, and will be competing in the finals tomorrow. Encarnacao sets herself up to earn All-New England honors in tomorrows final event.
