Skyhawks take three singles matches, before earning doubles triumph
BABSON Park, Mass. (September 18, 2022) – The Stonehill College women's tennis team wrapped up its weekend competing at the Wellesley Invitational with four more victories on Sunday.
Stonehill started the day with three singles victories, starting with freshman Annaliese Beltran edging Isabella DeAgazio from Wellesley, 6-4, 6-3. Sophomores Gabrielle Lindsay and Marissa Such both defeated Merrimack College's Ashley Stefanik by nearly identical scores. Lindsay posted a 6-2, 6-0 victory, while Such won 6-2, 6-1.
Stonehill added a doubles win before the weekend came to a close as Lindsay and junior Lindsay Macdonald defeated the Merrimack pairing of Stefanik and Luisa Eslava.
