EASTON, Mass. (November 9, 2021) – Two members of the Stonehill College women's soccer program earned Northeast-10 Conference weekly honors to close out the regular season, the league office announced.

Junior forward Lauren Clement has been named the NE10 Player of the Week for the first time in her career, while sophomore Mia Jackson has earned NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week accolades for the first time in her career as well. The duo keyed a 1-0-1 week for Stonehill as they made a late season push to attempt to clinch one of the final spots in this week's NE10 Tournament.

Clement recorded a career-high six points with the first multi-goal match of her career, while also dishing out the first two assists of her career in Monday's 5-0 win over Pace University in the Skyhawks home finale to set up a winner-take-all matchup with Southern Connecticut State University in the regular season finale for the final NE10 Quarterfinal spot two days later. Clement more than doubled her season and career point total with the six-point day. She recorded assists on Stonehill's two first half goals, and then added two goals of her own two minutes apart in the second half to break the match open.

Jackson recorded a pair of shutouts over a three-day span last week, averaging five saves per game in a scoreless 200-minutes of play. She opened with five saves in Monday's 5-0 win over Pace for her first career shutout and then followed that up with five more saves in Wednesday's 0-0 double-overtime draw at Southern Connecticut State University.

Clement started 16 of the 17 matches she played this season, finishing second on the team with ten points and four goals, while adding the two assists. She also posted a match-winning goal, that coming the match prior to Monday's Pace win in Stonehill's 3-2 victory over regionally ranked Saint Anselm College on October 30. Clement has appeared in 21 matches over her Stonehill career, including the 16 starts, with her ten points this season marking her career total as well.

Jackson appeared in seven matches in the Stonehill goal this season, starting four, including the Skyhawks final three matches. She finished with a 0.82 goals against average and .833 save percentage, averaging 2.9 saves per match, with the two shutouts and a 2-1-1 record in 441:29 over her first season. Her five saves in each of Stonehill's last two matches mark her career best. She also recorded four stops, including a penalty kick save, at Saint Anselm the Saturday prior to the final week of the regular season.

Stonehill finished its 2021 season with an 8-8-2 record overall, including 5-6-2 in the NE10, to finish ninth in the NE10 regular season standings. The Skyhawks won five of their last eight (5-2-1) and four of six (4-1-1), including a 3-2 victory over a regionally ranked Saint Anselm squad on October 30, to get back into contention for a spot in the NE10 Tournament, ultimately falling a mere point and .038 shy on winning percentage, needing a win in Wednesday's finale at Southern Connecticut State.
