Gozzo and Grover Compete At SNHU Spring Twilight Invitational

HOOKSETT, N.H. (March 31, 2023)- The Stonehill College men's track and field team saw both Eli Grover and Michael Gozzo compete in discus in the SNHU Spring Twilight Invitational on Friday. Both Skyhawks ended up finishing within the top 10 in the event.

Grover had a strong performance as the freshman notched a sixth-place finish with a toss of 37.19 meters (122' 0"). With his throw, Grover is now within the top 10 of the Northeast Conference (seventh).

Meanwhile, Gozzo also had a solid performance himself when he had a throw of 34.52 meters (113' 3"). Gozzo's mark also placed him within the top 10 of the NEC (ninth). Stonehill is now one of three schools to have multiple throwers within the top 10 of discus.

Stonehill will have some time off before their next event at the Holy Thursday Meet hosted by Merrimack College on Thursday, April 6.
