EASTON, Mass. (September 22, 2021) - Saint Anselm College scored twice in each half to claim a 4-0 victory over Stonehill College in Northeast-10 Conference men's tennis action on Timothy J. Coughlin, '80 Memorial Field at W.B. Mason Stadium tonight.

  • Junior Josue Assantha posted two goals and an assist to lead Saint Anselm College to a 4-0 victory over Stonehill College in Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer action on Timothy J. Coughlin, '80 Memorial Field at W.B. Mason Stadium tonight.
  • Saint Anselm also got goals from senior Zach Elliot and junior Jonathan Alves, while junior Brian Underhill made four saves to preserve the clean sheet.
  • Junior Andrew Hammersley made one save over the opening 64:25 in the Stonehill goal, while sophomore Reid Feldman added a save in the final 25:35.
  • Assantha set up the opening goal less than ten minutes into the match with a pass from deep inside the 18 on the right channel to an open Elliot at the left post.
  • Assantha added two second half goals to seal the win for Saint Anselm, the first coming off a Stonehill turnover at the top of the 18, 8:44 into the second half. He followed that less than ten minutes later with a one-touch goal from just inside the top of the 18 off a nice through ball from the right flank by freshman Caden Leader in the 63rd minute.
