Zukow Named NEWHA Goalie of the Week

EASTON, Mass. (October 4, 2023) – Junior goalkeeper Hanna Zukow was named the New England Women's Hockey Alliance's (NEWHA) Goalie of the Week the league announced on Tuesday.

In Stonehill's season opener on Friday, Sept. 29, Zukow got the start between the pipes against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) where they held the Engineers to one goal after making 29 saves in net.

For Zukow, it marked their 15th career game with 25 or more saves. With their strong performance in the Skyhawks' season opener, Zukow has now been named NEWHA Goaltender of the Week four times throughout their career.

Stonehill (0-2-0, 0-0-0 NEWHA) opens its 2023-24 home slate hosting the University of Maine in a two-game weekend series at Bridgewater Ice Arena, starting Friday night at 5 P.M.
