Glidden pushed Stonehill in front at the break (28-27) with a second-chance bucket at the buzzer, but Myers scored the first four points of the third quarter to nose St. Thomas Brooklyn back in front (31-28) a minute in. Both teams struggled to score in the third, combining to shoot 5-for-23 (21.7%), but the Terriers grabbed some momentum heading to the final quarter by scoring the last four points of the third, capped by a Myers jumper off a steal with six seconds left.

Myers opened the final quarter with a three-pointer and jumper to push St. Francis Brooklyn in front by eight (44-36) a minute in. Loder responded with a three for Stonehill, but the Terriers scored the next nine points, including four by Fisher, to take control with a 14-point lead (53-39) with 5:37 remaining.
