BOSTON, Mass. (October 7, 2023) - The Stonehill men's cross-country team ran at New England (NEICAAA) Championships at Franklin Park Saturday afternoon as the team finished in tenth place with 225 points.
Highlights
- Freshman Brayton Gazerro (Coventry, R.I./Bishop Hendricken) had an excellent showing Saturday, pacing the Skyhawks and finishing the men's 8K race in 26:13.3 to come in 17th place.
- Fellow newcomer Ryan Pereira (Danbury, Conn./Danbury) placed 38th out of 139 with a time of 26:49.8.
Other Performances
- Senior Aidan Byrne (Danbury, Conn./Danbury) tallied a 52nd-place finish with a time of 27:04.5.
- Sophomore Nicholas Cozzolino (Westerly, R.I./Westerly) clocked in at 27:05.7, just behind Byrne, to finish in 54th place as the fourth Skyhawk to cross the finish line.
