ANDOVER, Mass. (May 7, 2023) – Closing out day two, the Stonehill College women's outdoor track and field team competed in the second half of the Northeast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships today. The team made their mark in their debut into the NEC, ending the championships in fourth place overall (94.50 points), trailing behind Merrimack College (118 points) in third, Central Connecticut State University (137 points) in second, and Saint Francis University (147 points) in first.

Highlights:
- Making her mark in the championship meet was Kaytlin Encarnacao, who competed in the 400-meter finals and placed first overall with a time of 56.43, a new personal record and the top time in the conference.
- In the javelin throw event, Kaley Enright was locked in and placed second overall with a distance of 39.69 meters.
- In the 800-meter event, Emma Lawrence crossed the finish line in 2:15.13, placing third overall in the race.
- In the 100-meter hurdle finals, Madison Rousseau competed in the event, finishing in third overall with a time of 14.41, a new personal record. She also ran in the 400-meter hurdles, placing fifth overall with a time of 1:05.56, another new personal record.

- Competing in the 800-meter race was Elizabeth Marshall, who finished in 2:25.72 and an eighth-place finish.
- In the 5000-meter event, Rebecca Erhard competed and finished fourth overall, crossing the finish line in 18:29.75. Also competing in the 5000 meters was Victoria Lombardi, who placed ninth overall with a time of 18:59.99.
- In the 4x100 meter relay, Moloney, Encarnacao, Andrews, and Rousseau competed for the Skyhawks, placing sixth overall with a final time of 48.87.
- Throwing for the Skyhawks was Darla Jagrosse, who competed in the discus event. She placed sixth overall with a mark of 37.07 meters, a new personal record.
- Running in the 1500-meter race, Jordan Malloy stepped to the start line and finished in sixth place overall with a time of 4.44.91. Right behind her was Ava Cote, who finished in seventh place with a time of 4:45.47, a new PR.
- Kaia Eder competed in the triple jump event for the Skyhawks, placing seventh overall with a max distance of 11.47 meters
- Competing in the high jump event, Cassidy Becker placed tenth overall with a max height of 1.50 meters
