Comu and Quaynor lead four double-winners for Tars

WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 4, 2023) – Rollins College recorded a 7-0 dual match win over Stonehill College in a non-conference men's tennis matchup at Copeland Stadium this evening.

Highlights

Junior Efe Comu and sophomore Luke Quaynor led four double-winners for Rollins in the match. The duo opened with a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles for the Tars.
Comu dropped just two games on his way to a straight sets win at No. 1 singles against Stonehill freshman Mateo Mallen, while Quaynor won the first set of his match at No. 2 singles against freshman Mark Kröll by a break before taking the second without dropping a game.
Junior Guillermo Casteneda and freshman Richard Stoiberer rounded out the Tars double-winners.
Senior Charlie Putrino and junior Phillip McMurray also won points for Rollins in singles play.
Kröll and senior Luke Nickerson battled for Stonehill at No. 3 doubles, falling by just a break to Stoiberer and senior Moritz Stenzer, 6-4.
