Stonehill, winners of six of its last seven after being edged by Merrimack, 5-2, in the NE-10 semifinals last week, are led by senior Michael Mashkevich (Goleta, Calif./Framingham (Mass.)), a two-time first team All-Northeast-10 Conference performer at No. 2 singles, and junior Tim Fayed (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury), the 2009 NE-10 Player of the Year and a three-time All-Conference performer. Mashkevich has won his last 12 singles matches and posted a 17-2 record overall to this point, including an 11-0 clip in NE-10 play. Fayed, ranked 13th in the East Region, is 11-3 overall at first singles since returning to the lineup this spring after spending the fall semester in Stonehill's study abroad program. The duo, ranked seventh in the East Region, have also combined to post a 13-4 record at first doubles, earning second team All-NE-10 honors.

Sophomore Aaron Bergeron (Gorham, Maine/Gorham) joined Mashkevich on the All-Northeast-10 first team at sixth singles, carrying a 15-4 singles record into the NCAA Tournament.

Stonehill has also earned NCAA Tournament bids in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
