2008-2009: Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year. Earned All-Northeast-10 honors in No. 1 singles and doubles. Named to NE-10 All-Championship Team. Played in 22 singles matches, winning a school record 21 at No. 1 singles. Went unbeaten (10-0) without losing a set in conference play. At No. 1 doubles went 20-4 on the season, including a perfect 10-0 in the NE-10. Went 1-0 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles in helping Stonehill to first NCAA tournament win. Six-Time NE-10 Player of the Week (2/23), (3/16), (3/23), (3/30), (4/6) and (4/27).
2007-2008:
Finished with a 15-5 overall singles record. Held a 10-5 record at
No. 2 singles. 3-0 at No. 1 singles. 7-2 against Northeast-10
opponents. Finished 16-7 in doubles competition. Held an 11-6 mark
at No. 1 doubles with partner Michael Mashkevich. 5-2 in
Northeast-10 play. Named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll
(4/28), (3/31). Named Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Week
(5/12). Named to the 2008 Men's Tennis Northeast-10 All-Conference
First Team No. 1 Doubles and Third Team No. 2 Singles. Claimed two
victories at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles in NCAA Tournament
First Round versus Queens College (5/8).
High School: 2007 graduate of Glastonbury High
School. Four time varsity letterwinnner. Named captain his senior
year. Three-time recipient of All-conference awards. Named
All-state and All-New England as a senior. Team was Central
Connecticut Conference Champions. Member of the Interact club and
Church Group volunteer.
Personal: Born on June 28, 1989. Son of Toman
and Brenda Fayed. Has a brother, Ryan (21), who plays
tennis for Roger Williams University.
