Stonehill to Participate in NCAA Diversity and Inclusion Campaign

Easton, Mass. (October 26, 2020) - Stonehill College Athletics, as part of its Diversity and Inclusion initiative, will participate in the NCAA's Third Annual Diversity and Inclusion Social Media Campaign next week, from October 27-29.

This campaign is a platform for student-athletes, administrators, coaches, and fans across the country to continue the discussion, speak out on, and promote diversity and inclusion as key elements of student-athlete success. The goal is to use social media to create a dialogue on diversity and inclusion to communicate the benefits of inclusive environments to the student-athlete experience. 

The campaign, which starts Tuesday, October 27 and runs through Thursday, October 29, is aimed to use social media to create dialogue on diversity and inclusion as well as bring awareness to the importance of diversity and inclusion. Skyhawk student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and other Stonehill community members will participate with various components.

Each day has a specific theme and includes:

Keep an eye out for posts on TwitterInstagram, and Facebook each day for special messages, images, and videos pertaining to diversity and inclusion. Fans are encouraged to participate using the hashtag #NCAAInclusion.
