BETHLEHEM, Pa. (September 30, 2023) - Junior Emma Lawrence (Milford, Mass./Milford) placed 24th out of 351 runners as the Stonehill women's cross-country team competed in Paul Short Run at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course hosted by Lehigh University.
As a team, the Skyhawks ran in the women's collegiate 6K race and placed 18th out of 43 teams with a total of 463 points.
Highlights
- Lawrence's 24th-place finish came with a time of 22:26.0 as she ran in the 6K for the first time since September 30, 2022, at last year's Paul Short Run where she placed 36th.
- Freshman Sydney Kalil (Milford, Mass./Milford) had the second-fastest time for Stonehill, finishing in 75th place and clocking in at 23:10.4 in her first collegiate 6K.
- Fellow freshman Kellie Harrington (Pittsfield, Mass./Pittsfield) also made her debut in the 6K, finishing in 23.21.5 for a 98th-place finish.
Other Performances
- Fifth-year Victoria Lombardi (Peabody, Mass./Peabody Veterans Memorial) came in 128th place for the Skyhawks with a time of 23:34.9 in her first 6K since last year's Paul Short Run.
- Sophomore Jordan Malloy (Colchester, Conn./Bacon Academy) was the fifth Stonehill runner to finish, notching a time of 23:46.0.
