The Skyhawks had two seniors on their roster, and they spoke on how they were feeling finishing their last collegiate swim meet:
"It's a bittersweet feeling, turning the page to the next chapter. These girls have worked so unbelievably hard this past year and I could not be more proud of this team. The bond that we have is indescribable, which I think was very noticeable to everyone. We left all we had in that pool and I think that we will become a force to be reckoned with, especially with the years to come in the NEC conference." said senior captain Nika Sokolova.
"This week was a testament to how far Stonehill swim has come. 3 years ago we were a team of 6 women who loved to swim during a time when competition wasn't allowed. Today those 6 women have grown into a strong team of 15 amazing women who enjoy competing and working hard. Although this was our first year in the NEC conference, we broke our records, had a lot of lifetime bests, and overall improvements compared to the start of the season. Most of all, we had a lot of fun and created a lot of memories. As a senior, I'm beyond proud to have been a part of this team and I can't wait to see how well this team will do in the future." said senior Maggie Timmoney.
