DORCHESTER, Mass. (October 8, 2022) – The Stonehill College women's cross country team competed today in the New England Cross Country Championship on the Franklin Park course, in the Women's Varsity run. Stonehill earned a total of 118 points to finish fourth in the race out of the 18 top teams, beating out competing teams including Brown, Rhode Island, and Dartmouth.
Highlights
Four Skyhawk runners had times in the top 25 on the course at Franklin Park
- Sophomore Emma Lawrence (Milford, Massachusetts/Milford) led the way for the Skyhawks placing 12th out of 122, with a finish of 18:44.
- Fifth Year Rebecca Erhard (Wenham, Massachusetts/Hamilton Wenham) crossed the finish line shortly after, finishing in 19th out of 122, with a time of 18:53.
- Senior Victoria Lombardi (Peabody, Massachusetts/Peabody Veterans Memorial) finished strong in 20th place with a time of 18:53.
- Freshman Jordan Malloy (Colchester, Connecticut/Bacon Academy) received a finishing time of 18:54, placing 21st out of 122.

- Senior Elizabeth Marshall (Plymouth, Massachusetts/Plymouth North) finished the course in a time of 19:25, grabbing 46th.
- Freshman Emily Young (Newton, Massachusetts/Beverly) crossed the finish line in 19:51, placing 68th.
- Freshman Ava Cote (Wenham, Massachusetts/Hamilton Wenham Regional) received a time of 20:11, taking 85th.
- The top finisher for the Varsity Sub race was Jillian Callahan (Plymouth, Mass / Plymouth North) who ran a time of 20:33 and grabbed 36th place.
