EASTON, Mass. (September 8, 2022)- Colin Black of the Stonehill men's cross country team, Victoria Lombardi and Emma Lawrence of the women's cross country squad were all recognized as prime performers announced by the conference earlier today.

Black paced the men's side Saturday afternoon with a top-10 finish (eighth) when he crossed the finish line at 25:58.20. With his time Saturday, Black set a new personal best on an 8k course which topped his previous best of 26:09.5 set last year at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational. 

For the women's team, Lombardi led the Skyhawks last Saturday with a ninth place finish when she crossed the finish line at 18:45.90. Not to far behind, was Lawrence who ended up with a 14th place finish at 19:13.10.

The men's and women's cross country team continue their 2022 season when the they head to Bryant University for the Shawn M. Nassaney Invitational on Saturday, September 10. Following their meet at Bryant, the Skyhawks travel to UMass Dartmouth for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 17 at noon. Finally, to conclude the month of September, the purple and white head to Lehigh University for the Paul Short Run held on Friday, September 30 at a time to be determined.
