Stonehill Women’s XC Takes Eighth at Paul Short Run

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (September 30, 2022) – The Stonehill College women's cross-country team finished eighth out of 46 teams in the Women's College Brown 6k at the Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh University. 

Stonehill earned a total of 300 points to finish in the Top 10, with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps taking first with 82 points, George Washington taking second with 214 points, and Lynchburg taking third with 251 points.

Highlights

Four Skyhawk runners had times that are within the top 10 on the course at Lehigh

  • Sophomore Emma Lawrence (Milford, Massachusetts/Milford) Lawrence leading the way at 21:59.4, which is the fourth best time on the course for the program.
  • Senior Victoria Lombardi (Peabody, Massachusetts/Peabody Veterans Memorial) with a time of 22:05.8, making this the sixth best time.
  • Freshman Jordan Malloy (Colchester, Connecticut/Bacon Academy) finished close behind with a finish of 22:06.8, making that the seventh best time on the course.
  • Fifth Year Rebecca Erhard (Wenham, Massachusetts/Hamilton Wenham) crossed the finish line with a time of 22:09.5, making her time the ninth best for the Skyhawks.
