Brockton, MASS. (November 12, 2022) – Stonehill College women's swimming hosted a nonconference meet against Assumption College at Massasoit Community College Pool. Stonehill lost in the dual meet today, earning 116 points, and Assumption earned 145 points. 

Highlights

• Freshman Isabel Nelson (Schenectady, N.Y./Niskayuna HS) placed second in the 200-yard freestyle race (2:05.80) with Assumption's top racer Jenna Swist placing first in (1:59.00)
• Junior Sydney Stockwell (Hopkinton, N.H. / Hopkinton) placed first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of (1:00.12), placed first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of (1:02.12), and placed second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of (2:12.63).
• Freshman Taylor Belanger (Lewiston, Maine/Lewiston HS) placed first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of (1:08.75) and placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of (2:36.04).
• Freshman Azia Koser (Janesville, WI. / Milton HS) placed first in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of (2:17.6, and second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of (5:44.83).
• Sophomore Jami Hepburn (Nassau, Bahamas/AESA Prep International) placed first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of (2:34.52) and placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of (1:08.96).
• Freshman Kristy Barry (Ellsworth, Maine/Ellsworth HS) swam in the 400-yard IM race placing second (4:59.41) with Assumptions top racer Isabella Smith finishing in (4:53.08).
