EASTON, Mass. (September 14, 2022)- Colin Black of the Stonehill men's cross country team was named the Northeast Conference Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference earlier today. 

Black highlighted the Skyhawk's day by beating out 100 runners when he just narrowly won the meet with a time of 15:47.40 whereas second place came in at 15:47.50. For the second straight meet, Black ended up as Stonehill's highest finisher. He also has finished within the top 10 in each meet including an eighth-place finish last week in Stonehill's Division I debut at the Vermont Invitational. 

Stonehill continues their 2022 season when they head to UMass Dartmouth for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 17 at noon. The squad will then have a week off before concluding the month of September, heading to Lehigh University for the Paul Short Run held on Friday, September 30 at a time to be determined.
