ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 11, 2021) – Roberts Wesleyan College emerged from a three goal first half with the lead and made it stand through the second to secure a 2-1 victory over Stonehill College in non-conference men's soccer action at Roberts Stadium this afternoon.

How it Happened
- Senior Dylan Ruiz capped a three goal first half between the two sides when he converted a penalty kick in the 41st minute that put Roberts Wesleyan College in front for good and neither team scored in the second half.
- Junior Jared Gibbons preserved the win with four saves, including three in the opening half, for the Redhawks.
- Junior Andrew Hammersley returned in goal for Stonehill and finished with four saves as well.
- Roberts Wesleyan struck just 7:37 into the contest as senior Alex Perez Vega slid a pass from junior Ollie Ardle into the far corner of the goal.
- Stonehill was back on level terms as the match approached the half-hour mark when sophomore Zach Davis delivered a goal for the second-straight match.
