  • Freshman Cole Allen served up the free kick just inside the halfway line on the left channel to the far post that was headed back across the goal by senior Anthony Bolivar Sanchez and then knocked in at the left post by Hofstetter in his STAC debut.
  • After being edged by STAC 6-4 in shots over the first 45 minutes, Stonehill turned up the pressure in the second and posted an 11-4 shot advantage to finish on top of a 15-10 margin for the contest.
  • Senior Asier Vegas made five of his six saves in the second half to preserve the shutout in his STAC debut.
  • Junior Andrew Hammersley stood tall in goal for Stonehill, finishing with six stops, including four over the opening 45 to give the Skyhawks a chance at erasing the early STAC marker.
