EASTON, Mass (August 1, 2022)- The Stonehill men's and women's cross country team has announced their schedule for the 2022 season which features seven meets.

The Skyhawks open up the year by traveling to Burlington, Vt. for their first-ever showing at the University of Vermont Invitational on Saturday, September 3 at noon, and the following weekend head down to Bryant University of the Shawn M. Nassaney Invite on Saturday, September 10. Stonehill looks to keep the momentum going to UMass Dartmouth for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 17 at 11:15 a.m. and women's kicks off at noon, and then round out the month at Leigh University for the Paul Short Run on Friday, September 30. 

The purple and white begin the month of October by going to Franklin Park in Dorchester, Mass. for the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships on Saturday, October 8 at with women at noon and then men's at 1:30 p.m. After a few weeks off, the Skyhawks travel to New Britain, Conn. for the CCSU Mini Meet on Friday, October 21 at with women's leading off at 3:30 followed by men's at 4 p.m. before wrapping up the season at the Northeast Conference Championships hosted by Saint Francis University (Pa.) on Friday, October 28 as the women's squad starts off at 11 a.m. and then men's at noon. 

On the men's side, Stonehill capped off its 2021 season having made its 18th consecutive NCAA Championships appearance after finishing third as a team at both the NCAA Division II East Regional and the NE10 Conference Championships. Meanwhile, Stonehill's women's squad wrapped up its 2021 season with its 21st appearance at the NCAA Division II Championships, all consecutive, having finished second at both the NCAA Division II East Regional and NE10 Championships over the season.
