EASTON, Massachusetts (July 30, 2021) – Six from the Stonehill College ice hockey team were selected as Krampade/American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American Scholars, as announced by the organization this week.
EASTON, Mass. (July 27, 2021) – The Stonehill College women’s lacrosse team has earned Academic Honor Squad status from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for having a team grade point average of 3.20 or higher for the 2020-21 academic year.

(July 26, 2021) – The Stonehill College men’s tennis program has been named one of 80 programs in NCAA Division II, including four from the Northeast-10 Conference, to earn All-Academic Team status from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), while three recent graduates have received ITA Scholar-Athlete status for recording a grade point average over 3.50 for the academic year.

EASTON, Mass. (May 24, 2021) – Stonehill College seniors Sophia Poveda and Michel-Ange Siaba have been listed among the 28 nominees for the Northeast-10 Conference Woman and Man of the Year awards, both of which are selected by the league’s Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) Council.
In her remarks, student speaker, Sophia Poveda ’21, recalled classes where she didn’t agree with her professors on a topic or issue, but, as a result of challenging, engaged conversations with them, she learned something more—how to shift her perspective and “look at things we can’t change differently.” She also noted the impact of the College’s Think. Act. Lead. program in developing graduates who “will make their voices heard in their communities” and “bring justice to those who have been marginalized.”
EASTON, Mass. (May 14, 2021)– The Northeast-10 Conference announced this year that they will be awarding the newly established NE10 Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence to those NE10 graduating student-athletes who have attained the Latin honor of Summa Cum Laude or Magna Cum Laude at their institution.
