EASTON, Massachusetts (June 7, 2021) – Stonehill College men's soccer forward Michael McShane, a recent graduate, has been selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District® first team in District I, as selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) in the East Region. McShane is now eligible for Academic All-America® honors, selected by CoSIDA's Academic All-America® committee, as well as voters from Division II, to be announced in early July.

McShane, who graduated in May with a 3.94 cumulative grade-point average majoring in economics and minoring in business administration, earns Academic All-District® honors for the first time in his career. Male Leadership Award recipient and was Co-Chair of Stonehill's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He is also the president of the College's Student-Alumni Association and financial coordinator for the Stonehill College chapter of Hope Happens Here.

Petti Award recipient for having the highest GPA among all male student-athletes at the College and has been inducted to Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society. He is a two-time Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award recipient and has been named to the NE10 Academic and Athletic Director's Honor Rolls, and Dean's List all seven semesters to date, having twice earned Academic Excellence status from the NE10 for having a 4.0 semester GPA.
