Prior to the game, Stonehill took a moment to recognize its seven seniors playing in their final games this afternoon. Fifth-year Andrea Caradonna and seniors Claudia Crowe, Erin Heffernan, Raegan Hickey, Madeleine McGee, Lacy Moran and Lauren Moran have all led the Skyhawks transition to NCAA Division I season over the last two years, posting 31 wins and making two postseason appearances over the course of their careers.

Highlights

  • Crowe and sophomore Makayla Strickulis led four different goal scorers on the afternoon for Stonehill with a goal and assist apiece.
  • Freshmen Tyra Stark and Karleigh Mirabile also scored goals for Stonehill, while Hickey and Heffernan each chipped in assists in their final games.
  • Junior Shannon Conte and sophomore Madison Shorey split the goalkeeping duties for Stonehill. • Crowe doubled the Stonehill lead 4:37 into the second quarter when she directed a cross from Strickulis into the goal for her third goal of the season.
  • Mirabile and Hickey combined in a similar fashion to extend the Stonehill lead to three goals three and a half minutes later. The senior All-American fed a pass to Mirabile for her second goal of the year at 24:07.
