The award, which was initiated in 1996, honors collegiate and high school men's and women's soccer teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.00 cumulative team grade-point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale.

Daniel Pereira '20 earned his first NE10 Academic All-Conference award following the conclusion of the fall season. Fourteen Skyhawks received NCAA Division II Athletic Director's Association Academic Achievement Awards, which includes a student-athletes' cumulative GPA higher than a 3.5.
