St. Martin Tabbed Ace's First "Athlete of the Week"

Ace's first "Student-Athlete of the Week" award of the new academic year goes to women's soccer junior Kirstie St. Martin (Providence, R.I./Mount Saint Charles Academy) who led the Skyhawks to a pair of season-opening wins in New Jersey this weekend. St. Martin scored five of Stonehill's six goals over the two matches, netting the match-winner in both contests. She opened the season with a hat trick in Saturday's 3-1 triumph over Holy Family. She followed that up with two goals, including the match-winner in double-overtime, to lift the Skyhawks to a 3-2 victory over Georgian Court - an NCAA Tournament participant last fall.
