Erhard Leads Women's Cross Country to 11th at New England Championships

DORCHESTER, Mass. (October 9, 2021) - Stonehill College, ranked No. 4 in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II East Regional rankings, finished 11th out of 23 scoring teams that competed at the 2021 New England Cross Country Championship at the five-kilometer course at Franklin Park this afternoon.

The Details

  • Senior Rebecca Erhard led the way for Stonehill, who finished second among the Northeast-10 Conference programs entered in the championship, with a 30th place finish out of 155 runners overall as she completed the five-kilometer course in 18:34.2
  • Freshman Emma Lawrence impressed in her first collegiate championship meet by finishing 49th in 18:54.4.
  • Junior Victoria Lombardi followed in 55th in 19:06.8.
