CSC ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT RELEASE

The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes men's basketball honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, where first, second, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-March following a vote of CSC members. Academic All-District® nominees should be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, with graduate students needing to have a 3.50 GPA at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Zegarowski, a member of the 2022-23 and 2023-24 All-Northeast Conference Third teams, started and played in 30 games this season for the Skyhawks. The 6'8 forward paced the team with averages of 12.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 34.7 minutes per game. His 1.8 assists per game and 59 made three-pointers ranked second on the team.

Zegarowski was the most efficient Skyhawk from the charity stripe, making 56 of 72 attempts, good for a team-best 77.8% clip. The grad student topped the scoring column in 11 games for the Skyhawks while being the team's leading rebounder in 10 games this year.

Zegarowski improved on his 3.68 undergraduate grade point average from Franklin Pierce University, finishing his master's in business administration (M.B.A.) in Integrated Marking Communications with a 3.71 GPA in his two years at Stonehill. This is his second straight winter being named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. He is one of six honorees in program history and the lone Skyhawk to earn the accolade at the Division I level.

Zegarowski finished the season with conference ranks of 12th in scoring, tied for 16th in rebounding, sixth in three-pointers made per game (2.0), and second in minutes. Despite Stonehill posting a 2-14 record in league play, Zegarowski's numbers were even better, averaging 12.9ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.4apg, and 36.4mpg during NEC action.

Zegarowski also earned his second consecutive All-NEC Third team honor for his outstanding play on the court.

Zegarowski finishes his collegiate career with 766 points in 61 games at Stonehill. Overall, he tallied 1,438 career points in 121 games including his time at Franklin Pierce University and Lynn University. In 72 of the 121 career games, Zegarowski reached double digits, including 20-plus points 13 times and five double-doubles.

About College Sports Communicators

College Sports Communicators (CSC) was founded in 1957 and is a 3,200+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The current name of the organization was adopted following a member-wide vote on Aug. 31, 2022.

From its founding in 1957 until the 2022 name change, the organization is known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The name change signaled a major step in a larger strategic plan to highlight the association's evolution and expansion. The move better aligns with the association's membership makeup and further positions the organization to support and advocate for its members who serve in the communications, digital, and creative sports industry, regardless of position or title.

The organization, which celebrated its 65th year during the 2021-22 academic year, is the second oldest management association in all intercollegiate athletics. College Sports Communicators became an affiliated partner with NACDA (National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics) in December 2008.
